After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy at the University of Guelph in 2023, Kayla received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2026. She has since joined WARDS LAWYERS PC to complete her articles.

Kayla enjoys learning about a variety of legal topics. During law school, she enrolled in a diverse set of courses including Business Associations, Civil Procedure, Family Law, and Trial Advocacy. During her second year of law school, Kayla was a Caseworker for the Queen’s Family Law Clinic where she provided legal assistance to low-income individuals and gained valuable practical experience. 

Kayla is passionate about providing high-quality legal and client service and is looking forward to evolving as a legal professional throughout her articles by supporting each practice group at WARDS LAWYERS PC.

Outside of work, you will find Kayla spending time with family and friends, cozying up with a good book, or tucking into an exciting movie or television series.
